Following the publication on 20 September 2012 of two key consultations that lay out the Government’s proposed expansion of both the non-domestic RHI, and the launch of a domestic scheme for individual households, DECC are hosting a series of events across Great Britain to support these proposals.

The purpose of these events is to answer your questions on the detail of the consultations and hear first-hand your views and comments on our proposals for both schemes.  Below is an event schedule which lists the locations and timings for each event.

Early notification of majoral candidate hustings!

The overall objective is to publicise Bristol 'fair sustainable future' issues, clarify mayor candidate views on them and note any commitments they can make on these issues.

Wood burning stoves can be an aesthetically satisfying and sustainable way to augment domestic heating, and needn't be too expensive for homeowners to access. Whether choosing professional installation or interested in DIY there are some essential principles and regulations to understand.

This workshop will cover the principles of combustion, features of a modern wood burning stove, essential safety considerations, regulations, sizing, design and practical installation considerations in a mixture of theoretical and practical sessions.

Come anytime 11am – 5pm on the 28th and 29th (friday and saturday) for a look at the tree and we will explain how it works and connects up with the irrigation system.

Demand Energy Equality is building a Solar Tree this September in Bristol, and we need your help!<

The Bristol Community Energy forum aims to bring people together in a day long event to share ideas, resources and skills, to demonstrate projects and opportunities and to build and grow community energy groups.

Solarsense is having an open day on September 8th at our premises outside Bristol, in order to officially open our solar electric car charging station and to bring together a range of Electric Vehicle manufacturers to allow test drives.
