What is Bristol Energy Network’s role?

BEN has three strands of work to deliver as part of the FutureProof service:

  • Identifying and engage suitable building contractors who are interested in becoming recommended FutureProof contractors
  • Carrying out research with both consumers and building contractors to better understand how much consideration is given to energy efficiency measures during home improvements and in what form.
  • Identifying roles and support community energy champions to play an active role in at the front end of Future Proof program in supporting consumers and potential new customers undertaking retrofit measures.
