Solarsense is having an open day on September 8th at our premises outside Bristol, in order to officially open our solar electric car charging station and to bring together a range of Electric Vehicle manufacturers to allow test drives.
Michael Eavis is turning up in his own electric car to cut the ribbon at 11.30, and we have electric cars and vans from Renault, Mercedes, Nissan and Mitsubishi available for test drives as well as electric bikes from the Electric Transport Shop.
Our zero-carbon offices are open for people to view the PV, solar thermal, biomass and heat pumps installed there, and we’ll have some refreshments available.
