Bristol Green Doors have been successful in obtaining a contract to help other organisations across the South West put on their own open homes events. The contract is part of the Energy Saving Trust & Regen SW Ready for Retrofit project.

The University of Bristol Maintaining Momentum project now has a section on the BEN website giving an overview of the project, information on how to get involved and current outputs.
Following a successful pilot earlier in the year when solar panels were installed on 13 Lockleaze homes, Bristol Power Co-op is now offering shares at 6% over 20 years to Bristolians and others who want to help put free solar panels on more roofs in the area.
The shares offer document can be downloaded from the website at bristolpower.coop, and a public event on Friday 30 November will present the scheme to anyone in Bristol who is interested in finding out more.

And we aim to bring at least a £1,000 grant on top of the bulk discount to each install for homes in defined IMD areas*
Early on Monday 29th October, seventeen people scaled the chimneys of West Burton gas-fired power station, shutting it down and halting further construction. West Burton is one of the first of up to 20 new gas-fired power stations the Government has planned.
