Find out more about our conference…

Bristol Energy Network’s annual ‘Energy Transition’ conference is back! The theme for 2023 is “Unleashing Community Energy”. There will be brilliant talks from speakers from across the country, workshops, opportunities to network and mingle, and a chance to see the new community-owned wind turbine in nearby Lawrence Weston. The conference is being held at the beautiful Kings Weston House from 10:00-16:00 on Saturday June 24th 2023. Parking is available but we encourage all attendees to use active travel, public transport, or car share where possible. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

Numbers are strictly capped at 120 people so prior registration is essential. Please let us know as you book if you have any dietary requirements as the chef will need to know a few weeks in advance in order to accommodate them. It would also be really helpful if you could let us know which organisation you’re representing when you book on.

You will be able to get a view of the ACE wind turbine from Kings Weston House, but some of us will be travelling down there after the conference to take a closer look. It is possible to cycle in 20 minutes or to walk to a local bus or train stop (totally about 1hr 20 mins). If you would like to visit the turbine and have additional mobility needs, please let us know when you book your ticket so we arrange some transport to help you get there and back from Kings Weston House.
