Let’s Go Solar is looking for Bristol homeowners interested in having a solar-powered water-heating system installed for up to half the usual cost.
This is a great opportunity to save money on water heating bills and reduce Co2 emissions.
Solar thermal hot water heating systems normally cost around £5,000. Thanks to Let’s Go Solar, the cost will be around £2,500.
This saving comes from two sources: a bulk discount negotiated with the installers (Bristol Area Solar Installers Cooperative), and Let’s Go Solar’s successful bid for government funding.
Let’s Go Solar is a Bristol-wide community project, pioneered by community group, Ashley Vale Action Group.
It particularly welcomes expressions of interest from homeowners in “areas of high deprivation”. Homeowners can check their IMD (Index of Multiple Deprivation) status by visiting http://bit.ly/AshleyValeActionGroup
Systems must be installed by end-March so please express your interest ASAP.
After receiving a completed Expression of Interest, Let’s Go Solar will arrange to conduct a free survey of your home, followed by a non-binding quotation.
