With funding from the Department of Energy and Climate Change, Owen Square Community Energy, has installed a new Energy Centre, the first of its kind in the UK, with air source heat pumps to store summer heat in the ground for use in winter. Join them for the official launch picnic – with tasty food, good music, stalls, a photo exhibition and an energy trail (with prizes).
