Entrepreneurial Women in Renewable Energy

Following our successful ‘Entrepreneurial Women in Renewable Energy’ event in June, Regen have been working to build on this enthusiasm to create a dedicated Women in Renewable Energy network. This is gaining significant interest amongst the sector, where we already have over 100 women signed up.

A steering group has been set up following the June event. It consists of 12 female industry leaders and is being led by Regen. We are pleased to announce that we will be officially launching this network at Renewable Futures and the Green Energy Awards on Tuesday 25 November.

We encourage you all to attend the event as a way to continue to build your external profile and to support this promising new initiative and help ensure the future growth of Entrepreneurial Women in Renewable Energy.

The network will aim to:

  • Increase the visibility and profile of women working in sustainable energy at events across England and Wales

  • Increase the contribution of women to the Boards of small and medium sized sustainable energy enterprises across England and Wales

  • Promote the attractiveness of working in the sustainable energy sector to encourage wider female participation

  • Provide increased networking opportunities for women to do business in the sector.

We hope that you can join us at this year’s Renewable Futures and Green Energy Awards on 25 November to celebrate this promising new initiative and help ensure the future growth of Women in Renewable Energy. The Renewable Futures agendacan be found online.

If you would like to sign up to this network, please email Rachel rhayes@regensw.co.uk. I also encourage you to to forward this email to a colleague if you feel it would be of interest.

Kind regards,

Rachel Hayes
