Building Community Capacity’

VenueColston Hall, Bristol

Time: 9:00am for 9.30am, to 4pm

Date: Saturday 14th January

This workshop will bring together groups who are organising or are interested in community renewable energy projects within the West of England (Bath and North East Somerset, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset and Bristol), to identify opportunities for support.

There will be presentations from established groups about their projects and experiences, and the findings of the recent study into the potential for Renewable and Low Carbon Energy in the West of England will be presented. The study includes the most comprehensive mapping of energy potential in the West of England, which will help identify opportunities for community energy projects.

There will be opportunities to share knowledge, network, identify support and find potential areas of collaboration.
