BEN’s next Open Meeting is taking place on Wednesday 2nd July in 35 Berkeley Square (room 1.20/1,21) at the University of Bristol from 18:30-21:00.
This meeting will introduce the new BEN directors and provide an update on BEN’s incorporation as well as giving an update on BEN’s activities now and into the future.
The meeting will include Bristol City Council’s Energy Services Team giving an overview of what they are doing in the city in relation to community energy and link this, along with BEN’s member groups’ activity, with Bristol’s Community Strategy for Energy to provide a review of the strategy one year on.
There will be an opportunity for groups and individuals to outline what they are doing towards the strategy’s action plan, as well as giving updates on their current activity and what they plan to do as part of Green Capital 2015 and beyond. This will culminate in identifying areas of the strategy which are not currently covered and encouraging working group to form to work on these themes.
If you are part of a group that has been working on areas that fit into the strategy’s action plan, please download, complete and return the spreadsheet in the ‘resources‘ section of the website by Sunday 29th June, if possible.
