Dear Bristol Energy Network members,
To coincide with the completion of the 3e-Houses European Project, the UK partners would like to invite you to Bristol Ecohome on Monday May 20th for a tour and presentation.
The purpose of the visit is to give interested parties the chance to share our learning about how ICT can contribute to energy efficiency in buildings and to see the equipment deployed in a home.
There will be the chance to view the technical solution – including the visual interface developed by Knowle West Media Centre – to allow participants to monitor their energy consumption in real time.
Members of the UK team will be on hand to discuss the benefits and the challenges of using smart metering technology in the domestic environment, with the aim of reducing energy consumption in social housing.
