Full details of the Renewable Heat Incentive have been released today on the DECC website:
This includes details of the tariffs for different type and size of heating systems, as well as details of how the scheme will work. Given the wide interest in the feed-in-tariffs this is good news. Also, energy for space heating accounts for nearly half of all the UK’s carbon emissions so increasing the uptake of renewable heat sources is clearly extremely important. It also offers some significant opprtunities for Bristol, which the local energy groups are well placed to communicate to the wider public. We will include a presentation and discussion about the RHI at the next meeting.
