We are looking for three new directors to join the Bristol Energy Network board. We’re particularly looking for a Treasurer and also people with skills and experience in fundraising, business development, communications and community outreach/ engagement. The position would be suitable for someone who can commit to bi-monthly meetings as well as taking part in the running of the organisation in between times via email and phone. An interest in energy (eg fuel poverty, energy efficiency, community-owned renewable energy) is important, but it is not essential to have a background in this field. We’d welcome people who can bring a fresh perspective from outside of the energy sector to help us build a diverse and inclusive energy movement. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a local organisation which is developing and strengthening. Previous board experience is not necessary.

Our AGM is Tuesday 6 December where members will elect the new board.
