“Government’s proposal is disappointing”

Earlier in September 2018, BEN and Bristol Energy Ltd submitted a joint response to the Feed In Tariff Scheme Call for Evidence for the future of small-scale, low-carbon energy generation. In their reponse, David Tudgey (BEN) and Smaranda Sandu (BE Ltd) urge the government “to reconsider its position, particularly with regards to community energy, and to recognise the wider benefits that this sector can deliver”. As a key driver to the success of community energy projects that will help the Government meets its Climate Change targets, this will certainly be something that will be discussed at the forthcoming “Energy Transitions: Top Down v. Grassroots” conference. For more information about the conference and to find out how to get involved click here.
