Community Outreach Officer
Thando worked in different roles within our community from engaging people living in fuel poverty, helping people experiencing financial capability issues, working with homeless youth, families and vulnerable people across the city. She is passionate about helping people and communities to become more empowered. Part of Thando’s role includes encouraging people, groups and communities who have been excluded from the energy movement to get more involved. She also help groups with applying to the Bristol Community Energy Fund. She says “I’m glad to be part of the team here at BEN at this exciting time in our city and as awareness increases, momentum gathers and positive changes are being made globally on energy issues“.

Project development officer
Dave has been a very active member of the network since its conception. Having previously spent 12 years at Parsons Brinckerhoff he is now focusing all his energies on developing community energy projects. Through his part time roles as project development officer he is helping coordinate existing projects and catalysing others. There is always a lot going on but do get in contact if you’ve an idea or better still want to get involved in an existing project to help make it happen!
